History
Originally founded by the late Dr. Narong Mongkhonvanit in 1965, it was formally established as a Private Higher Education Institution with authorization to grant the degrees in 1973. The main mission of this institution is to respond to the need of the country in providing quality education as to produce graduates with academic excellence, high professional skill and sound ethical principles
Beginning with only 200 students at the inception, after two decades of steady growth and development sustained by devotion to the pursuit of academic excellence, the university has contributed more than 39,000 graduates to the national manpower in various fields of specialization.
Currently, Siam university is a private university in Thailand among the 28 Public university, 41 Rajabhat instituted, 9 Rajamangala institutes of technology and 61 private universities and colleges in the country. The student body consists of over 15,000 students in eight faculties namely:
