Welcome
Welcome to Automotive Engineering Department, as know as the first of Automotive Engineering Department of Thailand. Our department, established in 2005 by collaboration of automotive industries, academic professors from universities and colleges, and major car service centers, has been counted as new one of six departments in Engineering Faculty at Siam University namely:
- Automotive Engineering (AE) Department
- Computer Engineering Department
- Civil Engineering Department
- Electrical Engineering Department
- Mechanical Engineering Department
- General Science Department (teaching the general science to engineering students)
AE Department offers the bachelor of engineering program in automotive engineering and bachelor of industrial technology program in automotive technology. The both of curriculum have been developed by three groups of effective collaboration, namely, factory managers from the leaders of automotive industry, professors from Society of Automotive Engineers Thailand and managers of car service center.
In future the advance subjects will be though by using Problem-Based Learning Methodology. The program devoted to give the opportunity to students to develop their education in terms of leadership skills, team work experience that are very important in today's professional world.
